Exploratory Study Kenya in Co-operation With SWAP
Together with the Kenyan non-governmental organization Safe Water and AIDS Project (SWAP) and in agreement with the Kenyan Ethics Committee, a field study is to be carried out in the first quarter of 2022, in which two groups of 25 children with diarrhoea, who have not yet been hospitalised, will be treated with the standard WHO-ORS formulation and with Purosan ORS+ respectively. The respective hospitalisation rates will provide evidence of the effectiveness of Purosan ORS+ in the field.
The study is financed by private funds from Elascon GmbH (patent holder and creator of Purosan ORS+).
To increase the significance of the results, we would like to increase the number of study participants as much as possible. To do this, we are dependent on donations. Help us with an earmarked donation to the Safe Water and AIDS Project (SWAP) Kenya.
